The surprise in Broccoli Surprise Casserole is the addition of creamy cottage cheese.

Ingredients

  • 6 tablespoons flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 pounds cottage cheese, small curd
  • 1 bag frozen broccoli, thawed
  • 1, 8 ounce package American cheese
  • 1 stick butter

Directions

  1. Cut up butter and cheese in squares. Mix all ingredients together. Bake, covered, at 350 degrees F for 2 hours. Uncover; bake an additional 1/2 hour.
