broad stripes and bright stars cocktailInspired by the stars and stripes of the American flag, this eloquent drink features absinthe, a once-banned spirit that was recently allowed back into the U.S. It includes blueberries and raspberry liqueur.

Ingredients

  • Fresh blueberries
  • 1/4-ounce simple syrup
  • 1/4-ounce Lucid Absinthe
  • Splash of lemon juice
  • 1-ounce blueberry vodka
  • Drizzle of raspberry liqueur
  • Ginger beer

Directions

  1. Muddle fresh blueberries and add syrup, absinthe, and vodka. Add ice and shake. Pour into a highball glass.
  2. Drizzle with raspberry liqueur and top off with ginger beer. Garnish with one sugar cube.
