Brazilian Sangria

Brazilian Sangria

Use a mixture of fresh seasonal fruit for this cocktail such as: strawberries, oranges, kiwi, lime and passion fruit.


  • 1 cup chopped mixed fruit
  • 1/4 ounce absinthe
  • 1-1/2 ounce Cachaça
  • 1 barspoon Spanish brandy
  • 1 barspoon orange liqueur
  • 1 ounce red wine


  1. Place all of the ingredients, except for the wine, into a cocktail shaker and muddle well to combine.
  2. Fill the shaker with ice and then shake the mixture vigorously to combine.
  3. Pour the mixture into a cocktail glass and then gently add the wine. Briefly stir the cocktail to combine and then serve immediately.
