The stinger was known as an upper-crust, after-dinner drink most notably served at country clubs to the rich and famous. Now it is enjoyed by everyone prior, during or even following a meal.
- 2 ounces brandy
- 1 ounce white crème de menthe
- Cracked ice
- Put a martini glass into the freezer for 5 minutes to chill.
- Place all of the ingredients into a cocktail shaker and then fill the shaker with ice.
- Vigorously shake the mixture for 30 seconds and then strain into the prepared glass. Serve immediately.
