This smooth and fairly subtle cocktail combines Irish whiskey, Benedictine and dry vermouth together to form a sophisticated and thoroughly enjoyable blend.
- 1-1/2 ounces Irish Whisky
- 1 Barspoon Benedictine
- 1 Barspoon Dry Vermouth
- Orange peel to garnish
- Place all of the ingredients, except for the orange twist, into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
- Slowly stir the mixture for 30 seconds and then strain into a cocktail glass.
- Squeeze the orange peel over the drink to release its natural oils and then drop into the glass; serve immediately.
