This smooth and fairly subtle cocktail combines Irish whiskey, Benedictine and dry vermouth together to form a sophisticated and thoroughly enjoyable blend.


  • 1-1/2 ounces Irish Whisky
  • 1 Barspoon Benedictine
  • 1 Barspoon Dry Vermouth
  • Orange peel to garnish


  1. Place all of the ingredients, except for the orange twist, into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
  2. Slowly stir the mixture for 30 seconds and then strain into a cocktail glass.
  3. Squeeze the orange peel over the drink to release its natural oils and then drop into the glass; serve immediately.
