This healthy Halloween snack is easy to make and delights kids and adults alike.
Ingredients
- 1 small seedless watermelon
- Red food coloring
Directions
- Use a vegetable peeler to remove the watermelon's entire green rind, exposing the inner white rind.
- Slice off the bottom of the melon to create a flat base that will keep it from rolling. With a toothpick, outline squiggly lines that resemble the folded surface of a brain.
- Finally, carve out the areas traced with the toothpick with a sharp paring knife. This will expose the pink watermelon underneath. Feel free to add some red food dye for an extra gruesome effect.
