A simple blend of rye, Campari and vermouth makes this classy cocktail for one.
- 1-1/2 ounces rye (or bourbon)
- 3/4 ounce Campari
- 3/4 ounce sweet vermouth
- lemon zest for garnish
- Place a martini glass into the freezer for 5 minutes to chill.
- Place the rye, Campari and vermouth into a cocktail shaker and stir with a bar spoon for about 25 seconds until chilled.
- Strain the mixture into the prepared glass and then run some lemon zest around the rim and add into the drink. Serve immediately.
