Borscht is a classic favorite of beet lovers. Make sure to add a dollop of sour cream.
Ingredients
- 1, 16 ounce can beets
- 3 medium Kosher Dill pickles
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- dash Tabasco sauce
- juice of one freshly squeezed lemon
- 1 can beef consomme
- 1 small can tomato juice
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Put all ingredients in blender and puree. Garnish with sour cream.
