A ‘Bone-Dry’ Martini, also known as a ‘Pass the Bottle,’ is a version of the famous cocktail but without even a drop of vermouth.


  • 2-1/2 ounces gin
  • Green olive to garnish
  • 6 ice cubes


  1. Place a martini glass into the freezer for 5 minutes to chill.
  2. Put the gin in a cocktail shaker, add the ice and stir or shake the mixture for 30 seconds until chilled.
  3. Strain the mixture into the prepared glass and garnish with a green olive; serve immediately.
