It is recommended that Plymouth gin be used to create this blueberry-infused spirit, due to its slightly fruity, full-bodied and aromatic character.
- 3 cups organic blueberries
- 1 (750 ml) bottle gin
- Place the blueberries into a saucepan over medium heat, and gently cook while stirring frequently. Once the blueberries have released a significant amount of liquid, remove them from the heat and allow to cool.
- Once cool, transfer the blueberries to a jar and then add then gin. Seal the mixture and place in a cool and dark area for 5 days. Shake the jar every few hours.
- Strain the mixture using a fine mesh sieve and store in the refrigerator until ready to use.
