Since blueberries are so good for you try this sauce on your pancakes.
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 cups fresh blueberries
Directions
- Combine sugar and cornstarch in a saucepan.
- Stir in water and lemon juice.
- Add blueberries.
- Bring to a boil
- Reduce heat and simmer for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Stir until sauce thickens.
- Serve sauce warm over pancakes or waffles.
