Blueberries add vibrant color and fresh flavor to this chilled margarita cocktail.
Ingredients
- 2 cups ice
- 1 cup frozen blueberries
- 1 cup blueberry nectar
- 1/4 cup seltzer
- 2 tablespoons frozen limeade
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 3 ounces tequila
- 1 lime wedge
- Coarse salt
Directions
- Place the ice, blueberries, blueberry nectar, seltzer, limeade, lime juice and tequila into a blender and process until smooth.
- Place the salt on a plate. Run the lime wedge around the rim of 2 margarita glasses and then dip the glasses in the salt to coat.
- Pour the blueberry mixture into each margarita glass and serve immediately.
