This gorgeous colored cocktail is made with créme de violette; a liqueur made with violet flower flavoring and coloring, and a brandy base.

Put a cocktail glass in the freezer for 5 minutes to chill.
Place the gin and the créme de violette in a cocktail shaker filled with ice and stir for 30 seconds.
Strain the mixture into the prepared glass and serve immediately.
