As the days are heating up, cool off with this zesty and fresh dip, perfect for a summer bbq or pool party!
Ingredients
- 2 cups black beans, canned
- 1 teaspoon garlic, raw minced
- 1/2 cup lime juice, fresh squeezed
- 3 teaspoons adobo sauce (from canned chipotles)
- 1/2 cup cilantro, rinsed & chopped
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 1 1/2 teaspoon cumin, ground
- 1 teaspoon chili powder, dark
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
Directions
- Drain beans
- Combine with the remaining ingredients in a food processor, puree until smooth
- Adjust seasoning as needed with lime juice, cilantro, garlic, spices and adobo sauce
- Serve with tortilla chips or raw veggies
