Pop a cold one but save it for Beer Chili.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 small green pepper, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1, 15 ounce can tomato sauce with tomato bits
  • 1 can beer
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • dash of Worcestershire sauce
  • shredded Cheddar cheese for garnish

Directions

  1. Brown beef, onion and pepper in oil. Add the remaining ingredients.
  2. Cook over low heat until liquid evaporates at least 45 minutes. Stir often. Garnish with cheese.
