Pop a cold one but save it for Beer Chili.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 small green pepper, chopped
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1, 15 ounce can tomato sauce with tomato bits
- 1 can beer
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon vinegar
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- dash of Worcestershire sauce
- shredded Cheddar cheese for garnish
Directions
- Brown beef, onion and pepper in oil. Add the remaining ingredients.
- Cook over low heat until liquid evaporates at least 45 minutes. Stir often. Garnish with cheese.
