Beef Voyager is a tangy stew that tastes great over a bed of buttered rice or noodles.
Ingredients
- 2 pounds beef, cubed
- 1 large can tomatoes
- 1/2 cup onions, chopped
- 1/3 cup red wine vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- dash pepper
- 1/2 bay leaf, crushed
- 1 green pepper, seeded and chopped
Directions
- Brown beef cubes in 1 tablespoon vegetable oil. Add remaining ingredients except green pepper. Cover skillet and simmer gently for 1 hour or until beef is tender.
- Add the green pepper 15 minutes before meat is done.
