This sauce will brighten up the taste of your tenderloin with a mix of fresh herbs and garlic. You can also use it as a marinade for beef and chicken.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup fresh parsley leaves
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro leaves
  • 1 small garlic clove, crushed
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1/2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt, divided
  • 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • Cooking spray
  • 8 oz beef tenderloin, trimmed (use two 1-inch-thick steaks)

Directions

  1. Use a food processor to blend the parsley, cilantro, garlic, water, vinegar, oil, lemon juice, 1/4 teaspoon salt and pepper. Mix on high until the sauce reaches a smooth consistency.
