Peppercorn eye of round beef roast.


  • 3-4 pound eye or round roast.
  • Cracked peppercorns
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon seasoned salt


  1. Preheat the oven to 500 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Coat the roast in the peppercorns and seasonings. Place in a baking dish. Bake for 5-6 minutes per pound. Turn off the heat, but DO NOT open the oven for 2 hours. Make a gravy out of the juice if desired.
