Peppercorn eye of round beef roast.
- 3-4 pound eye or round roast.
- Cracked peppercorns
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1/4 teaspoon seasoned salt
- Preheat the oven to 500 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Coat the roast in the peppercorns and seasonings. Place in a baking dish. Bake for 5-6 minutes per pound. Turn off the heat, but DO NOT open the oven for 2 hours. Make a gravy out of the juice if desired.
