Easy to make bean and ham side dish.
- 1 pound butter beans
- 5 cups water
- 2 cups chopped fully cooked ham
- 1/3 cup butter or margarine
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Soak the beans in the water in a large pan over night. Drain and rinse.
- Place the beans in the slow cooker. Mix in ham. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours. Stir in butter and salt, allow to sit for 5 minutes.
