Service this soup with your favorite french bread.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups dry beans of your choice
- 4 cups water
- 1, 16oz can tomato sauce
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 4 small red potatoes, diced
- 2 carrots, shredded
- 2 onions, diced
- 2 strips of bacon cooked and chopped
Directions
- Soak beans overnight in enough water to cover as they swell.
- Drain beans.
- Put all ingredients in crock pot.
- Stir well.
- Cover and cook on low 8 to 10 hours.
