Service this soup with your favorite french bread.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups dry beans of your choice
  • 4 cups water
  • 1, 16oz can tomato sauce
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 4 small red potatoes, diced
  • 2 carrots, shredded
  • 2 onions, diced
  • 2 strips of bacon cooked and chopped

Directions

  1. Soak beans overnight in enough water to cover as they swell.
  2. Drain beans.
  3. Put all ingredients in crock pot.
  4. Stir well.
  5. Cover and cook on low 8 to 10 hours.
