Although this classic cachaça-based Brazilian cocktail is most often served blended, this version is alternatively shaken and then strained over fresh ice.
- 2 ounces cachaça
- 1 ounce fresh lemon juice
- 1 ounce pineapple juicev
- 3/4 ounce real pomegranate grenadine
- 1/2 ounce simple syrup
- Put the cachaça, lemon juice, pineapple juice, pomegranate grenadine and simple syrup into a cocktail shaker filled with cracked ice and shake vigorously for 30 seconds to combine.
- Strain the mixture into a wine glass filled with fresh ice; serve immediately.
