Basic Spaghetti Sauce tastes even better with meatballs and sausage.
Ingredients
- 1 large can crushed Italian tomatoes
- 1 small can tomato paste
- 1 cup water
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon basil
- salt and pepper to taste
- dash sugar
Directions
- Heat oil in saucepan. Saute onions and garlic. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 1-2 hours or until thick.
