This is a classic cocktail that all hosts and hostesses should know how to make to order. Do not over stir this carbonated beverage otherwise it will become a ‘foul ball.’
- 1 ounce whiskey
- 5 ounces cold ginger ale
- lemon peel twist to garnish
- Put a highball glass into the freezer for 5 minutes to chill.
- Fill the prepared glass with ice cubes and then pour in the whiskey.
- Slowly add the ginger ale then gently stir 3 times to combine. Garnish with a lemon peel twist and serve immediately.
