Use Añejo, the ancient Spanish word for "aged," golden rum for this rich and flavorful cocktail also prepared with Dubonnet Rouge, Grand Marnier and bitters.
Ingredients
- 1/2 ounce Dubonnet Rouge
- 1/2 ounce Grand Marnier
- 1-1/2 ounces AƱejo Rum
- 2 dashes Bitters
- Lemon peel zest to garnish
Directions
- Place all of the ingredients, except for the lemon twist, into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
- Slowly stir the mixture for 35 seconds and then strain into a cocktail glass.
- Garnish the drink with the lemon zest twist and then serve immediately.
