Barbecued Chicken Supreme will be the hit at your next picnic.
Ingredients
- 1 whole fryer, cut up
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons onion, grated
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon celery flakes
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
Directions
- Place cut up chicken in a shallow baking dish.
- In a small saucepan mix together ketchup, vinegar, chicken broth and Worcestershire sauce; stir in remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.
- Pour hot sauce over chicken and marinate in refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
- Place chicken on grill, skin side up about 8 inches away from coals. Turn frequently; after 30 minutes start basting generously with sauce. Cook until fork can be inserted into chicken with ease.
