Beef Short Ribs are cooked in a sweet and savory sauce.
Ingredients
- 3 pounds beef short ribs
- salt to taste
- 1/2 cup water
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons mustard
- 2 teaspoons onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup vinegar
- 2 tablespoon vegetable oil
Directions
- Brown ribs in oil and add salt, onions, garlic and water. Cover and simmer for 1 hour.
- Add ketchup, brown sugar, vinegar and mustard. Cover and simmer for 1 1/2 hours longer.
