Ingredients
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup applesauce
- 3 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1-1/2 cups mashed bananas
- 3 cups natural bran
- 1-1/2 cups buttermilk
- 3 cups flour
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 3 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup raisins
Directions
- Beat sugar, brown sugar, applesauce, eggs, vanilla, bananas, bran and buttermilk; set aside.
- Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
- Blend flour combination into banana mixture.
- Fold in raisins.
- Pour batter into a greased muffin tin.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
