Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 bananas, mashed
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/3 cup applesauce
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1/3 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon butter
Directions
- Combine 1 cup flour, whole wheat flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt.
- In a separate bowl, mix together bananas, 3/4 cups sugar, egg and applesauce.
- Blend flour combination into egg mixture.
- Fold in dried cranberries.
- Pour batter into prepared muffin tins.
- In a small bowl, mix together remaining brown sugar, flour, cinnamon and butter until mixture becomes crumbly; sprinkle over top of muffins.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
