The Bamboo Cocktail was created back in 1800 by San Francisco bartender Louis Eppinger, who was working at the time in Yokohama, Japan.
- 1 ounce dry vermouth
- 1 ounce dry sherry
- 1 dash orange bitters
- Orange zest twist to garnish
- Place all of the ingredients, except for the orange twist, into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
- Slowly stir the mixture for 30 seconds and then strain into a cocktail glass.
- Garnish the drink with the orange zest twist and then serve immediately.
