Baked Cranberry Squash

Serve this tangy dish in its own squash bowls!

Ingredients

  • 4 small acorn squash
  • 1 cup chopped apples (skins on)
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated orange peel
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoon butter, melted

Directions

  1. Halve squash lengthwise; remove seeds. Place in 13" x 9"baking dish, cut sides down.
  2. Bake at 350F for 35 minutes. Turn cut side up.
  3. Combine other ingredients and fill squash. Continue baking for 25 minutes or until
  4. squash is tender.
