Cherry crisp with a crumb topping.
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup juice from canned cherries
- 2 cups cherries, unsweetened
- Crumb Topping:
- 1 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup flour
- 7 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Butter a 9-inch square pan.
- Mix together the flour, sugar and cherry juice. Stir in the cherries. Pour into the prepared pan.
- Combine all the crumb topping ingredients and crumble over the cherry mixture.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes. Serve with whipped topping.
