Baked Carrots are flavored with onions and are tender and sweet.

Ingredients

  • 5 cups carrots, cut in 1 inch chunks
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 cup water

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. In a 1 1/2 quart casserole, combine ingredients. Cover and bake 1 hour or until carrots are fork tender. Drain.
