Make a lot of these appetizers. Bacon Wrapped Water Chestnuts won't stick around long.
Ingredients
- 2 cans whole water chestnuts
- 1 pound bacon
- Sauce: 1/4 cup chili sauce
- 1/2 cup Miracle Whip
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Cook bacon just enough to get the grease out, but not too crisp. Drain well on a paper towel.
- Wrap 1/2 piece of bacon around one water chestnut. Secure bacon with a toothpick. Repeat with each chestnut. Place in a 8 by 8 inch pan.
- Combine remaining ingredients to make sauce. Pour sauce over chestnuts. Bake for about 45 minutes. Serve hot.
