Infusing bourbon with bacon adds a wonderful smoky and savory flavor to the spirit which blends brilliantly with its smooth and spicy taste.
- 2 pieces cooked bacon
- 10 ounces of bourbon
- Pour the bourbon into a glass container, add the bacon and then tightly cap shut. Place the mixture into the refrigerator for 10 hours, removing every 2 hours to shake.
- Strain the mixture and then place back into the container. Put the container into the freezer overnight. Remove the emulsified fat off the top, strain once again and then store in an airtight jar until ready to use.
