Perfectly moist brownies from scratch.

Ingredients

  • 2 sticks butter, melted (1 cup)
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 4 eggs
  • 3/4 cup cocoa
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease a 9x13-inch pan.
  2. Mix together the butter, sugar and vanilla extract. Beat the eggs in, one at a time. Stir in the cocoa until well blended. Beat in the flour, baking powder and salt.
  3. Pour into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes. Allow to cool before cutting.
