Avocado toast can be enjoyed as a light lunch, a filling snack, or served as an appetizer accompanied with a glass of Pinot Gris.
Ingredients
- 2 slices of multi-grain bread
- 1 ripe avocado cut in half
- 1 lime, cut in half
- crushed red pepper flakes
- 6 Grape tomatoes cut into small rounds.
- olive oil
- sea salt
- freshly ground pepper
Directions
- Lightly toast the bread and then divide the avocado between each slice. Mash the avocado onto the bread with a fork and then top with a squeeze of fresh lime, sliced tomatoes, a drizzle of olive oil and a few pinches of sea salt, fresh pepper and red pepper flakes. Serve immediately.
