Maraschino liqueur is derived from famous Marasca cherries and their crushed pits. Enjoy its dry and subtle bitter almond flavor in this gin-based cocktail.

Ingredients

1-1/2 ounces gin
3/4 ounce maraschino liqueur
3/4 ounce fresh lemon juice
Maraschino cherry to garnish

Directions

Place all the ingredients, except for the garnish, into a cocktail shaker filled with ice and then shake vigorously for 30 seconds to combine.
Strain the mixture into a cocktail glass and garnish with the Maraschino cherry. Serve immediately.
