Lime seasoned asparagus with sesame seeds low fat side dish.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh asparagus spears
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • Pimiento strips, for garnish

Directions

  1. Wash the asparagus, break off at the tender point. Boil 1/2 cup water and add the asparagus. Cover and allow to steam until tender, about 6 minutes. Drain.
  2. Arrange on a serving dish and sprinkle the remaining ingredients over.
