This recipe is for a satisfying rice side dish inspired by Asian flavors. Pair with baked chicken or grilled steak for a complete meal.
Ingredients
- 1 package rice pilaf
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1-1/2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
- 1/2 cup carrots, diced
- 1/4 cup peanuts, chopped
- 1/4 cup green onion, chopped
- 2 tablespoons red bell pepper
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Make the rice as directed on package directions; fluff with a fork and set aside.
- In a large serving bowl, mix together all of the remaining ingredients and then add in the rice. Mix well to combine and serve.
