An Italian inspired chicken, rice and vegetable slow cooker dinner.
Ingredients
- 3 pounds chicken thighs
- 2 (15 ounce) cans Italian stewed tomatoes
- 1 (16 ounce) package frozen green peas, thawed
- 2 cups rice
- 1 (.28 ounce) packet yellow rice seasoning mix
- 2 (14 ounce) cans chicken broth
- 1 heaping teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 3/4 cup water
Directions
- Mix everything together in a greased slow cooker. Cook covered for 7-8 hours on low, 3-1/2 to 4 hours on high.
