An Italian inspired chicken, rice and vegetable slow cooker dinner.

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds chicken thighs
  • 2 (15 ounce) cans Italian stewed tomatoes
  • 1 (16 ounce) package frozen green peas, thawed
  • 2 cups rice
  • 1 (.28 ounce) packet yellow rice seasoning mix
  • 2 (14 ounce) cans chicken broth
  • 1 heaping teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 3/4 cup water

Directions

  1. Mix everything together in a greased slow cooker. Cook covered for 7-8 hours on low, 3-1/2 to 4 hours on high.
