This gin and vermouth-based cocktail is made with Bénédictine; an herbal brandy liqueur with butterscotch-like sweetness that is flavored from a variety of different plants and spices.
Ingredients
- 1 shot gin
- 1 shot dry vermouth
- 1/4 shot Cointreau
- 1/4 shot Bénédictine
- 1 dash orange bitters
- 1 dash Angostura bitters
- orange zest twist to garnish
Directions
- Place all of the ingredients, except for the orange twist, into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
- Slowly stir the mixture for 30 seconds and then strain into a cocktail glass.
- Garnish the drink with the orange zest twist and then serve immediately.
