Apricot Cocktail

Apricot Cocktail

Use only fresh orange and lemon juice for this cocktail otherwise it will turn from an elegant and refreshing mixed drink into a generic, tacky beverage.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 ounces apricot brandy
  • 3/4 ounce fresh orange juice
  • 3/4 ounce fresh lemon juice
  • 1 ounce gin or vodka
  • Maraschino cherry to garnish

Directions

  1. Pre-chill a cocktail glass by placing in the freezer for 5 minutes.
  2. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and then add the apricot brandy, lemon juice, vodka and the orange juice.
  3. Vigorously shake the mixture for 30 seconds and then strain into the prepared glass. Garnish with the Maraschino cherry and serve immediately.
