Apricot Bars have a bit of a tang and are great with a cup of coffee or cold glass of milk.
Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup quick cooking oats
- 1/4 cup margarine, softened
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/4 cup nuts, finely chopped
- 1 cup apricot jam
Directions
- In mixing bowl, blend together first five ingredients until crumbly. Press two thirds of mixture into a lightly greased 8 inch square baking pan.
- Spread jam over this layer. Spoon remaining crumbs over jam. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees F. Cool completely. Cut into bars.
