Applesauce Sweet Potatoes

Applesauce Sweet Potatoes are an easy and delicious way to serve heathy sweet potatoes

Ingredients

  • 6 sweet potatoes
  • 2 cups applesauce
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup orange juice

Directions

  1. Microwave sweet potatoes for 20 minutes, turning once during cooking. (Pierce the potatoes several times before microwaving)
  2. Peel and mash the potatoes.
  3. Combine the potatoes, applesauce, brown sugar, butter and orange juice and place in a baking dish coated with cooking spray.
  4. Place in preheated 350 degree oven for 40 minutes.
