These glazed apples are delicious! Use them to accompany your main dish at breakfast or serve it after breakfast as a light snack to end the morning. Fresh pears can be used in place of apples.
Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 apples, peeled and sliced
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 cup apple juice
Directions
- Sautee apples in skillet over medium heat; stir frequently for 5 minutes.
- Sprinkle sugar, nutmeg and apple juice over apples while they continue to cook.
- Apples are ready to serve when sugar melts and the mixture comes to a boil.
