Applejack is liquor that dates back to early American colonial days. It is produced from distilling hard cider, which results in a sweet mixture that smells and tastes like apple.

Ingredients

2 ounces applejack
1 ounce fresh lime juice
1/2 ounce grenadine

Directions

Place a martini glass into the freezer for 5 minutes to chill.
Place all of the ingredients into a cocktail shaker and then fill the shaker with ice.
Shake the mixture vigorously for 30 seconds to combine and then strain the mixture into the prepared glass. Serve immediately.
