Apple Lemon Coffee Cake

This sweet coffee cake makes a cozy afternoon snack, especially alongside a hot cup of coffee.

Combine 2 cups flour, baking powder and salt; set aside.
Cream 1/2 cup sugar, eggs, 1/2 cup butter, lemon peel, lemon juice and milk.
Blend flour combination into egg mixture.
Fold in apples.
Pour batter into a greased 8x8 baking dish.
Mix together remaining flour, sugar, butter and cinnamon until mixture becomes coarse; sprinkle over top of cake batter.
Bake at 425 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
