I love this on cinnamon toast.
- 10 red apples, peeled and thinly slice.
- 4 cups sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- Fill the crock pot with the apples.
- Cover and cook on low for 16 to 18 hours.
- Add the sugars, vanilla and cinnamon.
- Stir mixture together until well blended.
- Cover and cook on high for 5 to 6 hours.
- Place into jars while still hot.
