Homemade meatballs in salsa.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup dry bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 (17 ounce) jar salsa
  • 2 green onions

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Mix together the beef, onion, egg, bread crumbs, milk, salt and pepper. Form into 1 inch balls, should make approximately 30.
  3. Place into a baking pan and bake for 15-20 minutes. Remove from heat.
  4. Combine the meatballs and salsa into a saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring frequently. Cover and reduce to a simmer for 15 minutes.
  5. Transfer to a serving dish, top with chopped green onions.
