Homemade meatballs in salsa.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 egg
- 1/3 cup dry bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 (17 ounce) jar salsa
- 2 green onions
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Mix together the beef, onion, egg, bread crumbs, milk, salt and pepper. Form into 1 inch balls, should make approximately 30.
- Place into a baking pan and bake for 15-20 minutes. Remove from heat.
- Combine the meatballs and salsa into a saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring frequently. Cover and reduce to a simmer for 15 minutes.
- Transfer to a serving dish, top with chopped green onions.
