A quick and easy, creamy frosting for angel food cake.
- 1 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup cream
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- Bring the sugar and cream to a boil in a saucepan. Lower the heat. Stir constantly and cook for an additional 2 minutes. Remove from heat. Mix in the butter. While still warm spread onto the cake.
